I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with this family on their beautiful home. Lat week's post featured the family room of this open floor plan. Today, I am featuring their dining room, which is in an unusual location.
Before, this space was empty. Located just as one enters the home, it was a completely blank slate.
With the addition furniture and an overscale chandelier, the room now has a purpose.
A drop-dead gorgeous mirrored buffet holds beautiful buffet lamps with shades that tie in with the black mantle in the living room. An heirloom desk is used as a sideboard with family portraits above. Upholstered chairs in durable gold fabric add softness.
Reclaimed shutters handpainted by Maryvonne La Parliere with a scene from the homeowner's family farm serve as art above the mirrored console.
