A New Beginning

I am so excited to share my design thoughts and experiences and hope that I can get the hang of this blogging thing.  A few years ago, I decided to pursue a dream of mine and began an interior decorating business.  I have always loved home decor and feel like it's just a part of who I am.  I am inspired everywhere I go and I can't wait to get my hands on my next project.

I believe that a home can look beautiful and finished without being pretentious or expensive.  I also believe everyone has a design aesthetic and it's my job to figure it out.  I work with my clients to use what they already own and enhance it to make their home a comfortable retreat and a reflection of who they are.  I am very satisfied when I see my concepts become a reality and I work hard to encourage a completed space, one in which you will love and enjoy.

Although I am eager to begin this new endeavor on my own, I do plan on using some of my past projects to illustrate my design ventures.  Photos of rooms completed by Room for Change will be indicated by a watermark or caption indicating so.  These projects were in collaboration with former co-owner of Room for Change, Heather Picinich.

I plan to use this blog to highlight my own projects with spectacular room makeovers, inspirational special occasion decor and home "Embellishing" advice.  Thanks for taking a look.  I hope you enjoy and come back often!
